Library Facility


Facilities:
  1. Issue reading material for enrolled students, staff, ex-students and casual readers.
  2. Issue of books through Poor Boys Fund.
  3. Boys & Girls Reading Room.
  4. Periodicals and Journals are provided to users.
  5. Newspaper Reading System.
  6. Network Services are provided to staff and students.

Regulations:
  1. Every student entering the Library should have valid College identity Card. It should be produced as and when demanded by any of the staff.
  2. Identity Card and Readers Ticket are not transferable.
  3. Students must handle the books or periodicals with great care. Any attempt to damage books or periodical is bydefacing or tearing the pages will be treated as misconduct and strictly dealt with.
  4. If the original I-Card or Readers ticket is lost, a duplicate will be issued on payment of Rs. 10/- each.
  5. A complete silence and strict discipline be maintained in the Library & Study Room.
  6. Text books, reference books & Journals will be issued to students against I-Card. Students are not allowed to take them outside the Study Room.
  7. If any reference is required, students should approach the Librarian.
  8. Every student is expected to read and strictly follow the instructions given.
  9. In case of late return of books, students will have to pay a fine Rs. 1/-day.
  10. Only texts books will be issued for Home-Reading.

The College has a NSS unit -NSS motivates students to work for the welfare of the society, NSS endeavours to inculcate selfdiscipline and a sense of service to humanity among the students.

Guardian Teacher Scheme


On joining the college each student is placed under the personal supervision and guidance of a teacher who acts as a friend, philosopher and mentor and keeps a record of the student’s progress. Every student should contact his/her guardian teacher regularly. For getting scholarships, free-ships, admission cards, etc. Clearance from the Guardian Teacher is mandatory.

Remedial Teaching / Coaching


Remedial Coaching have been started in the college in order to enable the students belonging to SC/ST/OBC / Minority communities, who need remedial coaching to come up to the level necessary for pursuing higher studies efficiently and to reduce their failure and drop-out rate. It improves academic skills and linguistic proficiency of the students in various subjects.

Suggestion Box


The suggestion box is placed in the College premises to involve stakeholders in planning, implementation and evaluation by putting the suggestions.

Anti-Ragging Committee


The institute has "ZERO Tolerance" towards ragging. If any incidence of ragging comes to the notice of authorities concerned, the accused student will be given an opportunity to explain and if his / her explanations are not satisfactory, the authorities would expel him / her from the institute. The police shall be informed immediately and criminal law shall be set into motion .

Functions of Anti-Ragging Committee:
  1. To prevent any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness to a fresher or any other student.
  2. To monitor any act by a senior student that prevents, disrupts or disturbs the regular academic activity of any other student or a fresher.
  3. To Prevent indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student or students which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship, physical or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student.
  4. To prevent any act that affects the mental health and self-confidence of a fresher or any other student with or without an intent to derive a sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or superiority by a student over any fresher or any other student.
